Kellie Castle and Garden

After a fairly leisurely breakfast we headed out for the day’s sightseeing. The first place on the agenda was Kellie Castle. The weather was a little less settled than yesterday. So we decided to take a look around the garden as soon as we arrived. While we were waiting for the tour of the castle interior there was a brief shower.

By the time we had finished the tour the rain had passed over and we proceeded cross country to Crail (extra). Here we had a wander around the town before stopping for refreshments near the harbour. Whiel we were sitting on an outside terrace enjoying a very nice apple crumble the wind got up and it began to feel much cooler.

We too the temperature drop as our cue to return to the hotel. It seemed the Satnav chose the route with all the narrowest lanes in Fife. Unfortunately it was too cool for drinks on the terrace this evening, and there were several very heavy showers.
