Sunny Sunday

Far too nice to be stuck indoors working this afternoon...

However, we walked part of the James Small path by the Tweed from Norham Bridge this morning. Gloriously warm and sunny, and masses of beautiful wild flowers on either side of the path.

The Blip shows a bee on Green Alkanet. Can't remember seeing any of these delightful little bright blue flowers before and had to look them up. The book says they're "commonest in the SW", but they're flourishing alongside this path in the Scottish Borders too.
