"Why Dad?"

"Why did you make me leave home today? It's raining & I'm wet!"

It started with light drizzle at about 10am ...... since then the rain has got progressively harder & it is now pouring & blowing a hoolie! 

Decided against getting soaked to find a bedraggled flower photo!

This poor Sparrow fledgling was looking very damp ...... fluttering its wings in the hope dad would find some food!

Not the best day to leave a warm & cosy nest!

The weekend isn't looking very promising either ..... probably no walks :-(
