Spiralling

The thing I love most about my job is finding elegant and efficient solutions to problems.

The thing I like least about my job is documenting those solutions for people with no understanding of what I've just done.  That strikes me as somewhat (absolutely) pointless.

We had one of those seamless and transparent updates to our network this morning (nothing to do with me).  Our network promptly gave up the ghost and stopped working.  I lost connections to everything.  I went shopping.

But look, lose yourself in the spirals.
