Water Lilies

A change in the weather today and it has a bit chillier as well as damper.

Heavy rain early in the morning but I didn't hear it bouncing off the slabs.
Although the rain had stopped when we took Keta out there was still plenty of moisture in the long grass up round Chapel Green.

The morning was certainly the better part of the day as it remained dry allowing us to enjoy a couple of walks.

The water lilies in the Botanic Gardens were well protected from the rain by the huge lily pads which are covering a large part of the pond.
