Spores

A spell of cool and showery weather has put a hold on fieldwork, which is probably a bit of a blessing, as I've been able to get on with writing a couple of reports that are needed by the end of July.

My stints at the computer have been punctuated by time spent in the garden. The wet season seems to have really suited our rescued Hart's-tongue Fern, which nestles in a sheltered north-facing nook. It's the first time that it's produced any spores so clearly it's happy.
