Hoopoe

Recently a pair of hoopoes have been visiting us regularly. They flit about and are easily startled, so I have tried several times to get a half decent photo. This one is a bit out of focus, but is the best of a dodgy set :(

They are quite colourful birds with their distinctive crown of feathers.
