farmer walking his land

my father is a hard working farmer. Has his sheep and now he's worried that all the hard winter and the snow will ruin his land. This winter was harder, longer and colder than many years before.

The old house you see in the front is the old house that the family who used to own this land lived in around 1900's Those last standing remains is the kitchen. Inside my father has preserved the old things people used; pots and pans, kettles and for the outdoors; skiis and ice skates. I often can't imagine how life was in this northern part of Iceland during winter and frost..
