Sunshine on a rainy day ..

Thank you for your comments on my gin photo. I did write my blip late (after midnight) and rambled away. I enjoy drinking gin, in moderation.

Spent today with our daughter and Austin. We visited a local garden centre that has a number of units within - one is pottery painting (did that last time), another is a small registered zoo with Owls and birds of prey - visited this one today. Lovely birds and a reasonable fee - £3 for concessions.

Of course, there is a lovely cafe on site, so we had a tasty lunch - smashed Avocado on sourdough with poached eggs (for the adults), small breakfast for Austin (he would have preferred more scrambled eggs and another sausage). Cake to take home.

We have recently ordered some “menu” meals (3 of them), delivered by post - all the items needed to make the meal for the number of people (minimum 2 people), with easy to follow recipe. 2nd meal tonight - pork meatballs in creamy chive sauce (attached photo of menu card (with photo) and portions served up.
