Taksim square

Today we went to the Taksim square in Istanbul where all the protests are. It means that there are standing some boys on the roof of a taxi bus for the international press to let it look like "war zone" at the square, but ten meters aside there are standing happy people who support the peaceful forms of protests. In the Taksim park are thousands of young adults and teenagers together to participate in the Turkish revolution. Everybody is excited because such a big protest had never been able in Turkey and all the people to whom we've spoken said this is a battle against capitalism and dictatorship with a park as symbol. Our apartment is located 300 meters of from Taksim square, and here life is just like normal, all the shops are opened, people drinking tea at the street corners, cats fighting and a lot of traffic.
