Mobile phone circa 1970's

Number four in the buildings and structures series.... On my ride tonight I grabbed a few shots of some buildings, lovely cottages and a great country cricket match, but I had to go with these two, the iconic Telephone box, which I joking named the Mobile phone of the 70s and a little further down the road a bus shelter. Admittedly these came in all sorts of shapes and sizes but were/are pretty useful while waiting for a bus in the rain.

My thought for today... What if we're were to lose the GSM signal, wifi, the Internet... It's bad enough with the phone battery running down! What would we do? It doesn't bear thinking about.
