Abbaye

We bottled out of a morning run and were tired enough generally to make do with a slightly shorter bicycle jaunt today – just as far as La Couarde for ice cream (of course), though we did go via the picturesque and somewhat floridly named Abbaye Notre Dame-de-Re Dite Des Chateliers (or it’s ruins, at least – our host Alain took great pleasure in telling us that it had been burnt down by the English…)
