Out and About

The Docker Viaduct

Built in 1846 to take the Lancaster to Carlisle Railway over Flodder Beck, now the West Coast mainline.  Next time you're on the train just north of Oxenholme you can look out for the Flodder and think of me standing underneath marvelling this viaduct hidden away in the valleys. There are 6 arches in total. Grade 2 listed of course.
