Tha an t-uisge ann

Rather heavy rain this afternoon - so much so that the gutters and drains were struggling to cope, with water flowing down the street. This was accompanied by rather load thunder.  I'm glad I was indoors.

Earlier I braved the elements to take part in Parkrun where the rain held off for an hours or so.  I wasn't alone on turning up - we had more people than last week.  This was my first time power walking in a while and I was pleased to get my second best time overall, only a few seconds (7 to be precise) outside my PB. 

It's been a busy week and I am looking forward to a quiet evening.
