Daisy raft

The water in the Slipper Mill Pond has been whipped up by gale force winds all day which have not been easy to walk in. There are a couple of anchored rafts in the Pond which are used mostly by breeding coots, geese and black backed gulls. One of the rafts has sprouted a most lovely display of wild flowers this year and it looked wonderful bobbing about in the wind.

I am sad for Ons Jabeur. She must be feeling so gutted to have lost Wimbeldon again. But what a fantastic win for Marketa Vondrousova and it's so refreshing that an unseeded player has won.

Hope you're enjoying your weekend.
