Bobbin’ Along

Some rain moved through quickly this morning but then cleared enough for us to get a few things done in the veggie garden after breakfast • After a quick stop at the post office we drove over to the small park near cobbosseecontee stream, our current favorite place for watching kingbirds and waxwings. Today it was the American Robin that grabbed our attention. Six, actually. They’re such proud looking birds as they bob through the grass listening and looking for earthworms. Their backs erect as they hop from one spot to the next. They were fixated on the same berries the waxwings were gobbling up earlier this week • My, Oh, My, it’s Saturday again!
