The Flower Show is ready for judging

And the judges are having a coffee to fortify them. So much hard work goes into these well loved occasions and I'm on my knees this evening. Was chuffed to get 3 firsts, two bests in section, two seconds and a third. Spent my winnings on raffle tickets which won nothing of course which was a shame as local retailers, shops and organisations had donated wonderful prizes. We sold loads of pot plants that are a feature of the show each year. We had all been growing unusual plants and the few that didn't go were given to the Community Garden next door to sell for their funds. All our flower show profits are given to the C16 Village Hall where the show was held.
