Highland Games

D & I went along to the Games for a while this morning, the weather wasn’t great - and we left before the thunder & lightning!

We mainly went to see the Stoltmans - Tom was 2 times World’s Strongest Man,  and brother Luke was Europe’s & 5 times Scotland’s Strongest Man. They’re from Invergordon, not far from here, D was in school with their dad. There was a never ending queue of people getting pics and chatting with them, they were so good natured. We didn’t wait but I got a sneaky photo (extra)

BroD’s birthday today, sisD was visiting him then got a call afterwards saying the lightning hit the boiler in his house & 2 fire appliances came, there was a huge puff of smoke. They had some floor boards up to check underneath!
