Bagged a Munro today!
Our son’s latest enthusiasm for hill walking has revived our interest in our Munro list. When we first moved to Scotland 30 years ago we were regulars in the hills - buying a house that needed renovating, and then having a baby, somehow slowed down the mountain visits. No excuses now ..
So, a good day out up Ben Vane in the Arrochars. Usual Scottish summer weather - cloud, sun, rain. Great views out to Loch Katrine and over Loch Lomond. Fitness levels need working on!!
