Crocosmia liberated

The crocosmia outside the window has been a revelation this summer. Before Christmas P removed a lot of very overgrown shrubs which were obstructing our view and would have obstructed the installation of the new, large window. Suddenly, flowering plants which had been swamped by them have flourished; the crocosmia plants are enormous. They will have to move once they have flowered, as this area is to be a patio, but for the moment the colour is glorious.
