Early

Didn’t sleep well but a cup of tea and a slow start helped this morning. We took Paisley for a walk around the village afterwards to let her have a good sniff around and a bit of exercise before we left her and went to get A a manicure and then go for Sunday lunch in Woburn. We were having an early celebration of her birthday which is next Saturday but I’ll have gone back north by then so won’t see her. As usual there was a strong toadstool theme since that’s her favourite.
We had a lovely day, and came back after our filling lunch for a bit of a slump before she set off to collect N from work and head south for the next step in their tour around.
I decided to walk round to the allotment and check on it. I haven’t needed to go and do watering given all the rain this week but forgot there might be harvesting to do and managed to pick quite a few raspberries and some rhubarb. It’s getting rather overgrown in places but I can’t work the petrol strummer so it will need to wait for T coming back. They’re having lots of good weather and look to be relaxing (extra) ….home soon.
