New life

I bought a hydrangea as a cut flower last year. Then I let it stand and dry in the vase. When I was about to throw it away, I discovered that it had roots. So I poked it into a pot of soil. And waited. I did not really knew what to expect. But, next to the now dead twig, a green stem popped up. And now it blooms. However, it has changed color. But I am just as happy about that.
