Hairy Caterpillar

Is this the White Ermine Moth caterpillar or the Buff Ermine Moth caterpillar?

I have not seen many moths come in the house this summer usually drawn by the electric light but in the past the White Ermine Moth was a frequent visitor.  This little creature was speeding along the passage at a great rate of knots by the back door.

E and I went down to the pub to treat ourselves to a roast pork lunch.  We saw several people we knew.  Living on our own we seldom cook Sunday lunch!  In the afternoon we watched the final of the Mens Single at Wimbledon and were happy a new young winner was proclaimed!  The first I have watched this year as it generally doesn't interest me!
