David Morales - Aftermath

I should have saved yesterday’s shot for today, being the 11th.

It’s still where I’m standing. I like this quiet pocket of silence, being engulfed in a momentary bubble where the outside noises are unexpectedly switched out of frequency, noticed when it’s too late.

Seeing a clear shot of the city centre in the distance, it’s time worth taking to breathe in. Any moment now, a train will come to dispel this hypnotic trance. Much like a save point or life replenishing checkpoint in a video game, this is that unexpected spot for whatever lies ahead.

It’s too bad you can reset to a save point, only revert to a mental state point.
