What Is This Person Doing?

For those of you lucky enough not to know, my neighbor is setting a gopher trap. It’s a lethal little thing (I mean the trap, but the gopher is lethal as well, as he tunnels along sucking up our plants), spring loaded and able to inflict a good amount of damage to the human hand. There were big mounds on either side of our shared fence, and G was game to try and find the tunnels and do the deed. We will all gather ‘round tomorrow to see the results.
