La Flotte

We went via the Abbey again to Rivedoux to eat our lunch on the beach and then came back to spend our last afternoon on the Ile by the sea at La Flotte. We’d gone down the previous afternoon for a quick swim but high tide had left us just a slither of beach whereas today there was this curious landscape of fine green weed spreading towards the horizon and we had to wait and watch as the sea came back in before we entrusted ourselves to the waves. Later on we took all the kids out for a nice meal at Le Nautic and had a sunset stroll out on the harbour…
