Windmill De Juffer

After dinner Peter and I went to Gasselternijveen to capture the last light on windmill De Juffer.
A mill I went past by in the car lots and lots of times in life already, but never stopped to capture it. Until tonight.
I'm quite pleased with the result actually. Maybe it's the new firmware in my camera but the files seemed different during the post processing.

The last light came much earlier than we'd expected. When we arrived, way before sunset, we saw that the sun would dissapear soon behind trees in the background. We were so lucky to be there so early, otherwise we'd have missed it all. Instead of capturing the actual sunset at 21.50, we arrived home in Delfzijl just after 22.00 hours already, including a short stop at the big M in Veendam for a milkshake. Peter brought vouchers.
