Common Skate

Chris found this enormous Common Skate egg purse locally.  Berry helped him measure it to send the data to the local organisation measure the population. I believed there quite a decent population of these large fish around here. 

I've had an indulgent day involving a back massage and manicure. The corner was blissful and has eased the shoulder/ neck ache from driving M'vanwee.  The later was simply indulgent but I feel better in myself for it. 

Back home I tried to untangle the mass of sweet pea stems in the polycrub. It was some job and I'm afraid there were a few casualties, but I did get some more blossoms to scent the house.
