The Flag of Cornwall

St Piran's flag, often referred to as the flag of Cornwall, at Cotehele House by the River Tamar. The flag is widely flown across Cornwall and is a symbol of Cornish pride and independent spirit. One tale about the flag is that the black represents the dark colour of the ore from which tin is extracted, and the white represents the molten tin.
