Small Tortoiseshell

Today has been the warmest, sunniest day that I have enjoyed for a while.

Almost windless I hoped that I might see a butterfly or two in the Pollok Park gardens and there were two Small Tortoiseshell butterflies on the Yellow Ox-Eye daisies in the Parterre area in front of Pollok House.
