The Colosseum

This morning we had a small group tour of the Colosseum. Different tour guide to last year, not quite as good but still interesting and Carys really enjoyed it. We did more in the forum this time and after he finished, Carys insisted we went up to the top to get a full view of the forum.

A nice lunch and gelato afterwards. We wandered on to Trajan's column, the Pantheon (which we will go to on Wednesday morning) and then found ourselves back by the Tiber. Eventually we went home for an early night before the day trip to Pompeii tomorrow.
