Backblip


Today we departed for our long awaited trip to Iceland on the Ambassador Ambition ship. We are trying out a new company due to the proximity of the port, value for money and the obvious attraction of a few ports in Iceland. Getting a taxi to the port and being in our cabin within 30 minutes was absolutely wonderful, even if it was 4 hours later than expected. The trip over from Belfast had been delayed last night due to gale force winds and hence they didn't arrive until nearly lunchtime. Not a problem for us at all. 
The ship is great, much better than expected and we got a cabin upgrade too. A very promising start indeed.

Edit: Just been informed that this is my 2500th blip - after not blipping for so long, I'd completely forgotten about this. Sorry it's nothing special, unlike all my fabulous blip friends on this site that have been so wonderful, especially with all your comforting comments about my Dad's passing.  Thank you all for just being there, even though I didn't respond at the time.
