The Path Ahead

I began to wonder the wisdom of following footpath across the fields when I encountered the thistles! I ploughed on but it was quite painful with the prickles penetrating through my jeans. Pepper was fine at the lower level and seemed to be puzzled with me taking so long!

It's a good year for thistles but at least the bees and butterflies are happy.
