MSC Magnifica

The first of the big cruise ships in today. The MSC Magnifica came in from Hamburg and is now on its way to Iceland. It is a huge beast of a boat with an idea of its size being the Shetland Islands Council ferry Leirna just about to go behind her to berth at Bressay. The Leirna can take 125 passengers and 16 cars while the Magnifica can take 2550 passengers.

There was not a taxi to be had in town today as a result.
