Where has all the yellow gone

This is the oilseed rape ready for harvesting.  The seed is in the millions of little pods and the combine harvester separates them from the rest of the plant.
T started harvesting today as the rape was ready and had begun shedding some of its seed on the ground.  Wet and windy weather forecast at the week-end.

My landline has been out of order for the past few days with a fault.  Apparently there has been a fire at the exchange so I can't even transfer the calls onto my mobile and the repairs wont be completed until the end of the month!

Finished mowing the lawn and started cutting back the jungle!  The weeds and flowers that are over have grown along with the brambles and bindweed.  Soon people will wonder whether anyone lives here.  I have made a start on clearing it.
