Cheering on the Matildas in Ireland

I found a bar in Killarney with the Australia v Ireland Women's World Cup game on live (11am). Australia won 1-0 in a close game. I was surprised at the small crowd watching it at the bar despite heavy advertising (hence my front row seat). A female bar manager said, "if it was the men's team, the bar would be full"... I guess equality in sport is still some way off ...
