Potomac water falls

The Potomac is the river that runs across Washington DC and also separates the states of Maryland and Virginia. It’s running below its usual water level but is still very dangerous because of underwater swirls and strong currents over rocks: every year several people drown, after having ignored the numerous warnings about not swimming in its waters…

I always enjoy watching the river race down: Mother Nature is a powerful force!
