While on my walk, I took a break from the humid heat by popping into a new antique store. (Is that an oxymoron?) To my surprise, it was full of people for the grand opening.  Oh the food was very tempting, but I refrained.  I got into a conversation with a woman about the beautiful cupcakes and it turned out she was the baker who made them.  We both enjoy sugar too much and suffer from eating it. 

I found it a bit odd that for a store named "Fig" there wasn't one fig to be found on the table.  

P.S. Are we "allowed" to say "mannequin" anymore?  Don't answer that.
