Unnamed Lane

My blip today is from a high point on the unnamed lane where I often walk with Hollie. It is a mile of uphill climbing and a great work out for calf muscles and cardio vascular systems.  I love it and as you can see the higher you get the better the views get. Over the other side of the hill is the famous Wenlock Edge and it is my little piece of heaven. The view here is looking back down the hill from whence I came and the unmistakable ridge of the Titterstone Clee is clearly visible some nine or ten miles away.

In the extra is the damage done by the young lady who forgot how to turn right  yesterday evening, and disturbed our evening meal. The pub is ancient and built like a brick sh..  outhouse. The car came off much much worse. No news today, hopefully no serious long term effects but hopefully a lesson learned. When trying to turn right you need to use the thing called a steering wheel, and not try and do it at sixty miles an hour.

A sobering thought...
