not the Q

We used to have a really good local restaurant not far from us, the Q Bar. It was nothing fancy just really good, easy food.

It changed managers after the pandemic and went downhill, although we still went fairly regularly, until it closed a few months ago.

It's now reopened, with the same staff, as a chicken restaurant. We tried it tonight just to see what it was like. They've stripped iit right back to basics (a shame), including swapping the Gents and the Ladies around (luckily I looked before I went in) and it appeals to a different (ie younger) crowd but the (fried chicken) food was ok. Think a combination of KFC and Nandos. We won't be going back quite as regularly but I expect we will return.

PS It was much busier than it looks, every table behind us was full with a roaring take away trad as well
