Stained glass in "The Church that moved " !

Annie's community choirs did a concert at St Giles Church Lincoln this evening including SCONE the choir I am in.
The church was formally called "St Peters at arches"  built originally in 1724 on the site of "The works" in the centre of Lincoln  for Lincoln council for it's own civic services.
It was demolished for redevelopment of the city centre  in 1930 but some far sighted people saw it moved with it's organ , bells and furnishings on to the new , at the time, St Giles garden suburb .
Halls were added later for the benifit of the local community which is where we practice :-)
