James Watt, Artist

By JamesWatt

From here to there

Planning meeting today at Greenock's Beacon Arts Centre as the seminars for each of the schools get sorted out.

It's such a great setting for analysing James Watt's work, right there in the East India Harbour where many of the paintings were created.

The workshop rooms above also have a glass wall onto the river and the ships on it. So, whatever the weather, pupils will be all set.

Quite a sight when ships pass. This one is Shoalway, a dredger.
