The past, it is a small world

Today I met someone I used to date  ~35 years ago.
She recognized me, it took me a bit to recognize her.
We had a fascinating and wide-reaching conversation.

There were explosions at a Russian military base in Crimea on Wednesday. 

There are initiatives this summer to help Ukrainian kids cope and have a few months off. One is called the Warm Palms camp. Another is Sandbox Kids. They do arts and crafts and dance.

The Europen Commission president von der Leyen praised Ukraine's progress in fighting corruption. This is a top requirement in joining the EU. Based on this progress the IMP unlocked an $890 million tranche of its package.
