Tree Sparrows - Passer montanus

This is my first ever encounter with tree sparrows (Passer montanus). I know they are not particularly rare but our paths just haven't crossed until now.

These were visiting the feeders near the hide at Kinghorn Loch but were so distant that this image is a crop of a capture taken at full zoom with 2.7x digital zoom on top.

I promise my next post will be of better quality.
