Storm's a comin'.

After last year's six week heatwave we are having it mercifully cool this summer, if you call 30 degrees celsius cool.  We had the usual mix of work and relaxation today. We are keen to get the garden gate looking as as good as it would have been originally, so we have spent several days preparing it for this morning's application of red oxide. Rose pruning and shaping followed and then lunch and a dip in the pool. I watched the Hungarian F1 GP and then went to the Spar (yes, we have those in France) for BBQ food. Brochette de pork and salad with Clement Termes white wine for dinner.  Afterwards, I had another dip in the pool to cool down, but the storm clouds are a'gatherin'.  It will be a stormy night.
