Pizza

Pepperoni pizza. Wine: Andrew Murray Roasted Slope 2005.

After an exhausting trip home, we slept in late. For lunch, we had Mexican (mandatory after so long abroad). For dinner, it was pizza. The wine is a rather special one. We have been members of this winery's club since 2018, and Roasted Slope (a Syrah aiming for a Côte Rôtie style) is one of our favorites from them. When I came across a bottle of the 2005 for less than half the price of a current vintage bottle, I bought it without a second thought. It has aged beautifully.
