Buddleia

Looking through the window whilst talking on the phone with Jacqui this morning, noticed that several buddleia flowers, weighed down by rainwater, were hanging right across the path from the front gate. So the postie would get soaked on his way up to the door. When it stopped raining a couple of hours later, I went out and cut off those flowers (there are loads left for the butterflies and other insects). They look fabulous in a vase in the kitchen now! Thought it would be a 5-minute job, but somehow I managed to spend 3+ hours in the garden, mostly pruning and clearing vegetation overhanging the path. Very therapeutic, and I went indoors only because the rain started again in earnest.

In between times, hung the curtains in the bedroom.
