Sea land

Today I walked to Langstone Harbour in spite of the threat of rain and got nicely wet. Thankfully it is warm and muggy with all the cloud cover. The lush summer seaweed layers the shore and when the tide is out covers the sea bed too revealing an emerald green field.

Along the coastal path I managed to pick a large bag of blackberries which are perfect for the freezer to be used in the autumn with apple for crumble. We might just have one tonight too.
