Crummock Water

A really not bad day today. No rain , bit of brightness.
We took the bus over to Buttermere and after coffee and shortbread did a reasonably gentle walk around  Rannerdale, just to get us limbered up for a bigger walk tomorrow.
I love this white house on the edge of Crummock water. It’s a hotel owned by the National Trust, nice place to stay I should think.
In the distance you can see Fleetwith Pike, Haystacks, and High Crag. We think!
