Spain 2023, Day 7, Fuente Dé

On our list of must do walks this year was this one. A longish drive up to  
Fuente Dé where we caught the cable car up to the high Picos and then walked through the mountains all the way back to the car.

Wow! It didn't disappoint, from our initial arrival at the car park where we were greeted with this impressive wall of rock to the cloud inversions, incredible wildlife and amazing views it was a real day to remember. 

We also came close (ish) to some Asturian herding dogs, these dogs live near the sheep without humans and keep an eye on them. Some wild horses got a bit close to the sheep and they barked them off quite quickly, I should imagine horses are a bit more pliable than wolves or even bears. Nonetheless they were big old dogs. I went down to take a photo of a building and one was watching me the whole time, I didn't go any closer!
